AWS Sr. Sales Specialist?
Hi all, hoping to get some feedback on the sales specialist org at AWS. Looks like it’s an overlay position, but not sure if it’s better to just be a AM (L6). I’ve been told it could be for analytics or database, and seems like a pretty decent set up. Most my experience is in enterprise, and it sounds like there are openings in start up, global etc. for the specialist roles. Any AWS folks have insight on these roles? The pros/cons, and whether you recommend the database or analytics group? Also which segment/account types would be best as well? #aws #AWSsales #sales TC 305
Better to be an AM if that is where your experience is over an overlay
Ya most my experience is as an AE. What are the cons of the role? Maybe the fact that you have to justify value as you’re not the main quarterback? Is the role stable/secure?
