A New Grad SDE job listing from Amazon was posted on May 13th. This is likely for SDE-1/L4 because Amazon only hires new grads for SDE-I. I read here that many Amazon interns in 2023 were waitlisted for full time roles in 2024. If there's a job listing now, does it mean that Amazon may have more L4 headcounts than the number of waitlisted interns in 2023? What do you think about the general hiring trend of Amazon hiring SDE-I/L4 right now? Of course it's not going back to massive hiring SDE-1..... Thank you very much! how many times you gonna post this until you figure out she's just not that into you?
Excuse me. This is my first time posting in the Tech category. I only posted one more time in the Software Engineering category.
When I left a few months ago we were told no more industry hire L4, and no more down leveling 5 to 4 for industry hires. Not sure if this was all of Amazon or just my org.
