I was looking at various brokerages like intero, kw, exp etc. I see so many agents.. How many of them are selling at least 1 house per year. What is success ratio. I feel number of agents is just too high as compared to number of houses. I wanted to sell my house and i got insane number of agents calling me for giving them listing. I have a couple of friends in tech who are part time realtors and they are successful.
A local lady in my neighborhood is a techie and a part time agent and did deals worth $15M this year. She’s not even a top agent but even at 2% commission, probably earned more than our total household income.
that is the reason i too want to get license. it will be a good passive income and better to have something in case i get laid off.
Before the last housing crash, 20% of adults in Redmond had a real estate license.
Source?
success ratio is very very low
Is this possible to have a full time job and be an agent. How do you juggle both though. What if you are needed at work to handle an escalation but you also need to show a house? Guessing one position has to suffer?
not really possible if you want success at it
Are you a full time realtor ? I’m planning to make this move. Was let go form my previous company, unable to land a job
Just sell directly to redfin or opendoor. No need for an agent.
already sold with some similar way. got the price i wanted. i studied comps well before making a deal. The thing is, i want to be a part time realtor. but looking at number of realtors i am afraid whether i will be successful. i see there are just too many and very few will be selling 1 house per year.
Why do you want to be a realtor? Just for the money? Realtors are parasites
