Cliff Lede Vineyards

winery name: Cliff Lede Vineyards -tasting experience: 8/10, located in yountville, this tasting room has a simple, unassuming exterior and entrance but their interior has a warm, pottery barn meets wine tasting room decor with those plush brown leather couches to sit around. the tasting experience can be either at the bar or at the living room type seating area, which was casual and real comfy. really liked that there are references to music/rock everywhere, including their wines and electric guitars on display. anyways this winery is a younger winery founded just 22 yrs ago but has established itself as a namesake winery among the stags leap/yountville area. we visited in the winter so the tasting room was quiet and not crowded at all. as a result, the somm was really able to get into the wines and winemaking process and even just hang out with us for a while. the outdoor tasting patio has a double heart statue in the middle with shaded seating around it. -tasting $: they have several options starting with the bar tasting at $50 for 3 selections but standing(!), reserved tasting for $70, vip and a few other options ranging from $100+. since it was less crowded when we visited we were able to sit at the couches for $50. -reservations: Yes, generally 2 time slots at 10:30am and 2:30pm for their bar tasting. since this is a smaller, lesser known winery, u can find availability just several days prior to visiting but expect it to get busier in the summer. -membership: 5/10, 4/6/10 bottles per shipment, shipped 4x per yr. minimum spend of $1.3k per yr with 15-30% discount. they also have a platinum playlist membership, the highest tier which looks like a $3k commitment per yr. their poetry, songbook & beckstoffer wines are part of their platinum collection which all are very good, highly rated wines but access is very limited with high annual spend -revisit: Yes, mainly to pickup some of their platinum wines :)
