Hi, I am currently working at Uber. L4 level. I am rated 4 : growth needed at year end review last week. My manager told me that he believes that I am a good engineer but he said that I need to work hard on a dedicated project for the next 1-2 months and prove myself. This is some coaching plan that he, HR and leadership will come up with. Is it PIP? If yes, are there any real chances that they will retain me if I work hard? My father-in-law passed away last year and I was working remotely for most year and there was gap from my end as well and some challenges from stakeholders as well due to which I couldn't deliver as per expectations.
