Expedia Group SDE II Onsite Interview
I recently passed my OA and moved to the next step in the interview process. My On-site hasn’t been scheduled yet and I wanted to know how the system design portion of the interview goes. Will I have to code anything? I’ve never done system design before. YOE: 1 TC: 0 #engineering #software #expediagroup
Should be easy, like tinyUrl and such. Yes you need to write class, function, etc
They will ask basic system designing like Travel Related HLD or class diagrams type but not too difficult.
Do you know if they base your interview difficulty on experience or is it the same across the board?

Generally SD round for SDE II is about fundamentals. Give pros and cons of your system and justify your choices. If your fundamentals are clear, you should be good.

Interesting. Interviewed for a new grad SDE1 position a few months ago. System design for sde2 seems uncommon
