Expedia Interview Experience

I had a 3-month long interview process at Expedia for the position of Data Scientist - II, Analytics In the end, I was rejected but the recruiter told me that they will keep my application on file incase another position matches my candidacy better. Has anyone gone through the same thing and how long after a rejection can I apply again?
