Hey everyone, Got an offer from Expedia. TC ~£80k GBP which I find quite good for my YoE: 3 and also it’s an industry I find interesting. How is work culture in Expedia? I’ve been reading positive and negative comments, makes me unsure about it. Is anyone working in London and could provide me an overview of it? For the record: I highly value WLB/friendly work environment >>> high salary. Thanks a lot! @Expedia Group
Expedia wlb is amazing
Love Expedia! Wlf is really good
Wlb and culture is amazing. Compensation is not so good. Tech stack is really good. Loving it.
Expedia WLB is fantastic
Nice WLB (but also depends on the team), super nice environment and culture, sometimes messy leadership and hard to get things prioritized in the roadmap, but lot of opportunities to improve the product
I agree with everything people said so far. If you value WLB it's definitely a good place.
Welcome to expedia :)
i heard expedia laying off, https://www.geekwire.com/2023/expedia-group-lays-off-workers-as-part-of-strategic-actions/
it was only recruiters and PMs
No remote
Hey. I've worked with Expedia. Especially Hotels.com (subsidiary of Expedia). The tech stack is amazing. Tech ethics are great. You'll learn a lot. The team is quite helpful. During the pandemic their business went down quite a bit. But now it's okay as Pandemic restrictions have fully eased out.
