Both my previous and current employer use Fidelity to manage 401k. However my former employer has better investment options compared to the options I have now. Is it possible to move my current 401k to the FORMER so I’m maximizing on my investment/returns? My current investment options are abysmal at best.
Use brokerage link
Thanks. Care to expand a bit? What’s “brokerage link?”
Never mind, i just found an article about BrokerageLink. Let me check it out. Thanks
Wouldn’t it have been easier to use the fidelity chat to ask someone who works there instead?
Same ish situation. Amazon uses fidelity but the investment options i see listed are mostly shit. So I'm 100% in the Russell1000 fund. Considering doing brokeragelink to diversify into 5-6 vanguard ETFs
Wish I knew about the brokeragelink about a year ago.
No, only the other way around
Your employer defines plan configuration including brokerage link feature. You, as an employee, cannot change the plan to turn on brokerage link feature.
Brokeragelink is available at both. Didn't know about it until I posted here. Already activated both and have since been managing my own investments. Thanks
