Google job and Side hustle
Do Googlers have to declare their side hustle or business? Suppose an employee owns an e-commerce website that sells food and it’s listed on Google Business with the employee address. Should they declare it in this case? Pls answer in the comments Googlers and Ex-Googlers only answer. #tech

Declare it. If the business has no conflict of interest, HR will have no issue as long as you put up required hours as per the contract. Spending office hours on your side business will never be taken likely by any organisation.
If it’s a family owned business. Should be still declared?
Most likely it wouldn't be an issue at all. If it is a registered business and your name is officially added to as a member of directors etc ... declare it for the company code of conduct and ethics policy sake.
Oh its listed on Google business with employee address. You're already mixing personal business with job. Obviously, HR has to be informed.
