Capital Group or Expedia Offer

I have two New Grad offers that start next August. I accepted both for now. As of now I see myself going with Expedia. What do you guys think? Cost of living is cheaper in Seattle than Irvine, and Washington has no state income tax. WLB is pretty good at both. Expedia Group, Seattle Product Manager I, base salary: 108k sign on: 10k year 1, 5k year 2 relocation: 7.5k rsu: 40k(10k/yr) Capital Group, Irvine CA Software Engineer base salary: 97k bonuses: 11.6k sign on: 5k relocation:10k MRP: 16.3k (company contributes 15% of an associate’s total annual compensation (salary, bonuses) every year into a retirement account. 6 years for full vesting #tech #expedia #capitalgroup #productmanager #softwareengineer #seattle #irvine

They are very different roles with different paths, so make your decision based on that first. That being said, do NOT go to CG for tech roles. Your growth and total comp will stagnate there.

As you still work for CG under that stagnant growth and comp but receive 2 bonuses and MRP. Why don’t you leave angry twit

What was the interview process at capital group?

Capital Group pGsd66 Jan 26, 2023

I have enjoyed my time at capital group. Comps, bonus, people etc. It has been unlike any companies I have worked for. Take whichever offer works for you but don’t use this forum alone as your guide. Ask the same question on LinkedIn or other forums then make your choice.
