How are my chances of getting into a MS DS program?

My undergrad is in Business Admin Info Systems, GPA was 3.5. I’ve had about 4 years of data analytics experience, definitely more on the technical side since I’ve found myself gathering data, creating pipelines, designing databases and data warehouses, visualizing, presenting etc. you get the gist. I’m looking to advance my career in getting even more technical and branching into data mining and sorting algorithms. I’m also US based and looking mainly for online programs so I’m not looking for a super prestigious degree, but I also don’t want to go to a degree factory either. How limited are my options since my background is technically not a STEM degree? Am I cooked?

Create a poll. Do online certifications and work on side projects. Dont waste money on MS.

having a degree is non-negotiable, even if OP might learn more from projects

MS DS are for the non STEMs if anything, otherwise people just get in one in CS

I am starting this fall at Georgia tech OMSCS Don’t do DS or analytics masters degree as they often dilute the main info you need . Do like a masters in math or stats or applied stats
