What do I need to do to stand out/crack the interview?
Google brand is so diluted now with hundreds thousand people. It’s not what it used to be.
It's not the faang that it used to be, leadership has ruined google and making it worse
Back in my intern days I got interviews from both with 1 google on resume. I bombed both interviews tho.
Google puts you into the top tier of the candidate company on resume screening, and that's it. The remaining rounds are performance based
Which other companies are a part of the top tier?
Can't disclose, but pretty close to your common sense of well-established ones
Definitely found they’re looking for some financial background in your history. Saying this coming from another former FAANGer
I interned at Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley in undergrad
Probably have a good chance then.
