How is Plaid these days?
Have an E7 offer from Plaid for (270 base + 610K paper money). Currently E6 at Google making 615K. Is it worth taking a chance on Plaid? How's morale and IPO looking? Plaid is remote friendly and there's a lot of room for impact. But the paper money is sad. #plaid

Not really, VP title is just different in banking. You make VP as a mid level there.

Ur ok with taking a 400k pay cut? Plaid paper money is worthless. Being acquired at 1/8th their valuation is the bull case. You should be wary of your RSUs expiring totally worthless

Not worth it. It’s low for E7 comp AND it’s funny money. Should be over $1M.

No because Plaid doesn’t have much upside. Fintech is taking a beating. On top of that there are other public companies they will give $1M TC for E7. Just doesn’t seem worth the risk to me given it’s more likely your RSU’s depreciate rather than appreciate.

600 of that is paper money :( very high risk
Don't go for plaid. That paper money is worth half it's value.
