So I had applied to Expedia Group for an internship position, passed the coding exam, and failed the interview. Thankfully, they offered me a feedback session, which I took advantage of. “You did really well on the behavioural! The algorithms part, you where able to solve all the questions, but not in the most efficient manner. For the Data Structures part, you weren’t able to solve anything “ I know it sounds bad, but I’m actually so happy. The recruiter said that you only needed a small part and you would have been hired. “Make sure to apply for the fall as a new graduate, and email me when you apply” I’m so happy that I’m so close. I’m so happy that the idea to make the big bucks is now tangible, and just something I fantasise about when driving DoorDash. I can feel it. Came so far as immigrants from Africa to make it this far. I love it
All the best .. keep LC’ing until you make it. 👍🏼
Godspeed champ 🏆
You got this bud, good luck and keep at it!
How long did they take to get back to you?
Meet you soon in the house buddy ✌️
Expedia is shit anyway If I where you I’d apply to startups, way more valuable experience than corporate, specially when starting your career
At least they put in effort to give feedback to the candidate. Which other company does that these days?
You're going to have a great career. Just keep the positive attitude and continue the grind!
You’re almost there friend, keep grinding and applying. You’ll get it 👊
