Is Crowdstrike prestigious?
Curious where Crowdstrike falls on the prestige rankings, if at all.

A lot of web companies are prestigious because of the reach of the brand. Crowdstrike is very prestigious when it comes to the device security domain, so is Adobe in the creative space. For IT security folks crowdstrike is great company. Would you consider meta prestigious,if it made some insurance comparison application?
I'm pretty sure a lot of people would consider Meta to still be prestigious in that case if it paid the same.

Crowdstrike pays lower than some of the most well known big tech companies but it’s definitely a cut above the other 90% of companies that hire engineers. SE III gets 240k TC, Sr SE gets 350K. That’s pretty nice
As prestigious as Google, Meta, Walmart, and Cisco....if you are a line worker earning mediocre TC. The real prestige lies in TC and the number of people who work under you.
The real "prestige" is owning your own business or being independently wealthy.
