LC is great for seeing how well you will perform under pressure when dealing with incidents
From my experience, if you are a web developer, having strong OOPS and SOLID principles help more than LC. LC probably helps folks who are more in System Programming (working on DB, File Systems etc.) IMO.
I feel LC is like quant & aptitude in competitive exams, they won't be much useful in real life but it helps in identifying the talent.
Yeah, maybe less talent and more willingness to study and prepare. LC can be gamed. It’s a test of how much effort you put towards studying for a test when you have the question bank ahead of time.
Agree, willingness to learn is more important in tech industry.
