Have you tried cashing in the AI boom by interviewing outside I feel ML experience could fetch more if youare able to sell it
I kinda feel like places like Anthropic and OpenAI are super competitive in this bad market. A bit too lazy to prep, but I might change my mind if 1) I'm closer to meeting the bar than I think I am and 2) if comp really is that much higher even without a PhD.
How did you get into ML without phd? Is it MLE? Either way you are in a great position to capitalize on this trend for years
