Off topic, do you mind sharing why you’re looking to leave Figma? Thinking of joining and curious. On topic, the benefits are cool and great but not sure if worth it. My partner works at Meta, and I have meta/Figma offer and I’m leaning towards joining Figma. Meta has really generous insurance with low price, high fitness stipend($2k) insane fertility/surrogacy benefits and very high 401k match. Other perks include good lawyer services, top tier free food, shuttle service, sabbatical after 5 years. Most of this is all listed on levels.fyi
Mainly due to comp. The valueation is 50% lower compared to when I got my grant. The company made some adjustsments but it is not enough to cover the loss. Otherwise pretty good company. Good wlb dpending on the teambl but comp is way lower
So unless they give you a good package with the current valuation, not sure if the diffrence is worth it
I think the best benefit is the stock refresher. I got 200-300K equity every year as a senior/staff Eng. For your comparison, I got 20K a year when I was in Microsoft.
That is massive, what I heard from people at similar levels was more like 110k refreshers
200-300k is likely a figure after the large stock appreciation. Your ~100k is more reasonable.
Most benefits got cut in 2022. What was left got cut between 2023 and 2024. Now you get sparkling water in breakout rooms. That's about it.
Biggest benefit is RSU refreshers. Otherwise, nothing special. Like someone else said, lotta benefits got cut. Just isn’t the same as it used to be.
What are some of the good benefits that got cut?
Baby cash gone, exercise equipment reimbursement lowered. Everything else like insurance, 401k, etc. is standard like other companies.
