Just curious—are there any tech companies that are still providing WFH setups ( monitors, mice, keyboards etc) or did that go away with the "end of the pandemic?" FYI—@ Ipsos you pretty much have to beg for WFH equipment. All they give you is a laptop. #wfh #hybrid Tc:95k 🥜 Yoe: 7
Meta: laptop + phone. Full remote workers also get monitor, keyboard, mouse + one-time $2k cash + $2k/yr fund for home office expenses
I got a 6 year old laptop lol.
I just had to fight to get my 1 yr employee a new laptop. She started summer of 2021 on another team with a 6 yr old piece of crap. Hahaha I feel you!
We do. I think it’s like $1000 or something
We do. $1000
Nothing at Google only laptop
Amazon does laptop, monitor, keyboard, mouse, plus misc cables for fully remote as far as I know.
Pretty much anything you need, at manager's discretion.
We provide keyboard/mouse/webcam/27”4k monitor/laptop/usb & hdmi hub when you join as a remote employee. You can also use your monthly reimbursement to purchase any wfh setup you want. (I bought a nice chair)
Dropbox gives $7k/year which you can use for work from home setup or anything else you want
7k a year can’t be real. WTF is that meant to cover, a new Herman Miller chair, MPB, and live oak desk every single year?
Anything you want 🤷♂️ Dropbox is virtual first, so mainly everyone works remotely but we have studios (offices) that we can go to everyday and do offsites for every quarter, so that’s pretty cool to meet the team
At Netflix you can get whatever you need to WFH.
For people in remote roles Meta offers a home office setup stipend, a yearly budget for office supply stuff, and basic equipment (monitor, keyboard, mouse, I think you can also get a headset)
