Hi blind, I got an offer at Google Munich, for an L5 position (TLM). Honestly, quite disappointed with the range. I am curious to know how much up (%) google negotiate it? How much up can this get? Offer: Base: 110k EUR RSU: 200k USD Bonus: 15% My current TC is more than that TC: 210k EUR YOE: 14 Currently based in Berlin #google #offer #l5 #tech #tlm
Take it! You'll have a good life in Munich with that TC and you can live in a prime location in Europe!
I live in Berlin with a better TC
No offence mate but Berlin is not really a comparison to Munich. I left Germany many years ago but Berlin is considered as low class whereas in Munich you have the best in terms of night life, sophistication and nature city in this country. You can always switch positions internally at Google later once you join.

Camunda pays this for a tech lead? I thought German companies always skimp out when paying salaries. Btw G will always lowball you unless you have a competing offer for an equivalent company. And frankly that offer is low for an L5 sure even for G Munich standards.
not at camunda anymore, just didn't update. But Camunda pays pretty well actually :)

Yeah google munich salaries are shite on average I had a colleague who tried for more (also L5) Basically got told take it or leave it. He took it and says he’s happy though.

I had a similar offer from google for L5 which I thought was really low but i used it to show my current org for better offer
