I'm not direct employer with Amazon. We have alternate Fridays off. Do any other companies have this?
I’ve only seen this at boomer companies
Common in aerospace
During the summer we do every Friday off at 1pm
I thought you said alternate Friday layoffs
Adobe has some global days off for wellness. It is not strictly alternate Friday, they vary and are declared by HR. Employees like these days off and it is always nice to open your calendar and suddenly see a global day off on the Friday
I’ve heard of a few smaller companies do 9 hour days and then give alternating Fridays off. They count hours with a timesheet though (even for salaried/exempt employees) which is crazy to me…
No they don't . I can work 3 days from home as well . They don't care about timesheets
Clearly I’m not talking about *your* company.
Whats your pay though ?
