Just wanted to check if Fidelity Investments India would allow associates to be remote after pandemic. I am Fidelity Investments US employee and looking to move back to India but would like to be working remotely may be 3 weeks in a month and 1 week office. Is it possiblity? Lots of companies started offering remote. If not then I would look for job in other companies.
I don't think so. They have invested heavily in updating their bangalore based office. That said it will likely be a hybrid model.
Any idea what hybrid model would be? Thanks
Nobody knows just yet. A good guess is 3 days a week. Good luck.
There is no chance of them allowing remote work. Every HR meet they emphasise on returning to office. Infact ever since pandemic began, they have initiated return to office thrice. They say it is voluntary but also say they will make it mandatory for sure. Worst part is they never give you timelines of anything.
Let's see... I think the current job market and high attrition rate will make most of the organisation to bring hybrid culture. Fidelity anyways is not very good pay master in India so they would need factor that in also.
Trust me! They wont!
I think then the option left is to start applying jobs at remote friendly companies. Coinbase , Twitter. Etc
Don’t work for Fidelity India, especially in their marketing analytics team. It is run by a highly biased guy name Nat*.., who runs the show from the US.
