Will be selling my RSUs and ESPPs on Monday because I have lost all hopes of Cisco stocks going to the moon. I'll have around 50k to invest on Monday. Thinking of investing in either Microsoft or Google. No Zuck or Andy because Zuck seems busy doing MMA and doesn't give a fuk about meta, and Andy is not a product person. He's a "professional" CEO, aka trying to make balance sheet look good. Who do you have more confidence in? Satya or Sundar? I don't care about the balance sheet. I care more about CEO's vision, future plans, and executions, and employee moral. TC 160

Any of the big names would be fine . But buy in September and October . Never buy in June .
For some reason, stocks always go down in fall. Is this just a coincidence or there's an explanation to this phenomenon?
Collective psychology and expectation cycle . Q1 - earnings always beat expectation , expectation goes up . Stocks go up . Q2 - same as q1 , expectations go even higher. . Q3- expectations out run the stocks , earning don’t meet expectation . Stocks go down . Q4 - expectations go down , fear sets in . Stocks bottom .
If you're an engineer why are you buying tech stocks?
Why not? I know tech companies well but not big pharma, real estate, or banking sector
Do you know tech stocks well? You’re asking an anonymous forum about 2 of the most obvious, popular companies and which to invest in. Doesn’t really seem like you know sh*t actually.
