I will be graduating and have applied for ~300 jobs and have received exactly 1 interview. What am I doing wrong? Also if anyone has a referral that would be awesome :) #faang #tech
With my experience with job applications, never click easy applies on LinkedIn/indeed/dice and count it. Always apply on each company job portal by creating accounts (takes appx. 15 min) but totally worth the time. Happy searching!
Idk resume looks good, maybe you’ll get more traction as you get closer to graduating. Maybe aim for an internship next semester if you can and try to get your foot into a position that way
Dunno, looks fine. Add intern in the titles in work experience.
Echoing everyone else, resume is standard for new grad, try referrals if you're not getting any bites It's also just a bad time to be job hunting, sorry
I’d use Igotanoffer
Also resume seems very generic and doesn’t tell you much
3.8 GPA? Should have been 4.0.
Put education after your project. Recruiters care more about checking off skill checklist rather than where you graduated
Maybe apply to less competitive places?
Market must be dead if your hit rate is 1/300. Sorry to hear that. Going to get back to work before I’m fired, now.
