Will job market ever recover?
I thought the job market would be better than in 2022 and 2023, but that changed once I started applying for jobs. Despite submitting over 20 applications, I've only received two calls, both from mid-sized companies. I wonder if the job market will ever recover… L4 270k
There are many posts on blind where ppl contact for hundreds of jobs and get none. So it’s bad.

Op - you are doing pretty well with 10% call back rate. Keep charging forward. The market turned up a bit in Q1 but getting cold really quickly after all signs showing no interest rate cut for most part of the year, if any cut at all in 2024
Not in the USA. If you’re willing to relocate to India, Mexico, Poland, Colombia, Costa Rica, Canada, Spain then may be. The great tech job migration started already.

Yup no interest rate cut, so no stonks so no jobs.
2 callbacks in 20 apps is much better than 2023 lol. People were sending hundreds of apps with zero call backs.
