Has anyone done this? How has it been? Some say marriage without passion is lame cause friendships is more important but others say marriage with passion and at least some compatibility is fair enough. Then others say passion dies out.. I get it, for some people lifestyle and social class is important, rather than love and respect. How important is passion in your marriage? How has it been with or without it? Did you have passion when you married? Why did you married without passion? #dating #marriage #relationships
Started dating because of passion. By the time marriage was on the cards enough years had passed. At that time it's compatibility. Different stages.
Let me guess, arranged marriage?
No. My friend told me he chose one girl over the. Other. One had passion the other didn’t. He chose compatibility one over passion. Now im wondering how many people do this? Is this common? Im not married but would like to be one day.
It’s a personality thing. Depends on you. My rule of thumb for passion in a long term relationship is simple: when you see her coming out of a shower, do you want her then and there? Why passion may or may not be important? Also simple. You see a hot girl outside. What’s in your head? My head says, god damn! but I have a hottie at home! So - Whatever. I move on and forget. But if I did not have one at home, I would be eating myself inside. Every time. For years. And that is - bad. So listen to your head. Will it eat you or not in such situations.
Thats a really good elaboration. Thanks!
Been married 23 yrs. Both are important. As you navigate through life, there will be ups ans downs. U need a friend in ur partner for such things But the friendship needs the fire of passion. Otherwise it will become just a working arrangement.
