Expedia Offer Evaluation

Currently L6 at Amazon with 210k TC this year but 160k TC next year (did not get RSUs for next year) #tech I know the Expedia offer is a no brainer. My question is, is it good or not? If not, where should I negotiate?

It's so obvious, stay at AMAZON.

You can do better in my opinion.

Lol. Updated the post

The easiest place would be the signon. Then equity. Then (maybe..) Bonus. That's it, the base is extremely hard to negotiate, especially at that level.

Wow love that base. Is it for director level. I see some roles as senior program manager. What is the difference?

Does Expedia has the equity defined by level? Ex: M has RSUs worth of $80k / year? What is the typical TC for Sr Eng Manager (level M) in Seattle?

Amazon jambamamba OP Apr 25

Thanks. How are your levels and comp?

The way the current market, it's a good offer. Don't compare to last year...compare to offers going out the last 3 months for similar companies.

Wayfair mykB21 Apr 25

Congratulations, that's a good boost in the overall comp!

OP - does your offer include annual refresher which is granted as an equity?

Expedia Group rdDM52 Apr 26

That's really good 192k TC as an L SDE

Expedia Group babypwasi! Apr 26

Mind sharing your base?

Expedia Group rdDM52 Apr 28

171k base averaging out my current rsus to be about 21k this year at the current price You?

Raises aren’t a lot just a FYI. There’s the merit award which is just a glorified inflation adjustment. Also wanna note that they do give our RSU but IIRC you can’t touch it for 2-3 quarters AFTER it’s given to you but it vests every quarter like normal RSU. It’s the RSU award that makes up for the lack of an annual bonus/actual raise. Just something to keep in mind

Expedians, how is the WLB now? And leadership? Are you nervous about more layoffs or has the storm ended for now
