I’m still 31, so it’s early for midlife crisis. I’m not even married. I’ve completely lost all my motivation to work. Money and career was important for me, so I’ve chased it at the expense of other life experiences. Now, I feel like just taking some time off and then coasting at an easy job for sometime. I’m on visa, but not scared of PIP and layoffs anymore. On the contrary I’m hoping I’ll be let go soon.
Welcome to the club mate
Sounds like you may be experiencing burnout.
Are you Rhodesian?
No. Just picked a random username.
How did you spend your 20s?
Working long hours and jumping jobs for higher TC every 2-3 years. Started dating seriously in late 20s.
Holy shit. I’ll tell you something as a mid 40s: your 20s are the absolute finest, freeest you’ll ever be. Go explore the world. Take a year or two off. Live wild. Just do it
Take some rest, talk to a doctor. Every thing will be fine again.
Yes. Forgetting to post TC are sure signs of midlife crisis!
TC to justify
Take 2-3 weeks off to begin with. And make sure you are completely disconnected from work (having 0min of work related screen time including emails and slack). Travel or just relax and do things that you usually enjoy outside of work. This might help. If it doesn’t May be try talking to a therapist to figure out the reason/s behind the burnout and go from there.

So Trump is right, again, on illegal aliens being rapists?
You are just mentally tired. Just take a proper sabbatical and you will be back to normal
