I am going to move to Adobe soon. We use fidelity for 401k with brokeragelink available which opens more options for investments. What options does Adobe have in this regard? What custodian is it? Does it have brokerage option within 401k?#personalfinance #investments
Vanguard for 401k. TD Ameritrade for self directed.
Thanks. For self directed 401k, is there an automated process of rolling 401k from vanguard to TD or it has to be done manually every month? Surprising that self directed 401k is different from 401k custodian
I see Vanguard has some useful funds too. Does TD allow purchasing stocks ?
It’s a manual operation. Must keep 1% balance in non-managed account,up to 99% in managed. I do initiate the transfer every other weekend :-)
Got it, I am so ready to move my fidelity 401k there. I have to keep 5% in non managed. Wish it also allowed options there so i would sell covered calls
Most benefits info is public https://benefits.adobe.com/us/retirement-and-financial/401k-retirement-plan
Wow I dont know how did I miss the self directed 401k info there. Thanks! For anyone who looks through in future, following is the excerpt: The Adobe 401(k) plan offers a self-directed brokerage option through TD Ameritrade, where you have access to thousands of investment choices. Keep in mind that the risks are substantially higher with any brokerage strategy and that you’ll be responsible for paying commissions and other costs.
Thanks for the detailed info
Adobe uses Vanguard for 401K and eTrade for stock.
Participate in ESPP ASAP.
Thanks. Do you have brokerage within 401k with vanguard?
