Help me settle a debate. "Tyrannosaurs Rex" like Attorneys General? Pure Latin "Tyrannosauri Reges"? Basic English plural "Tyrannosaurus Rexes"? Something else? TC $350K
Scientific names are not pluralized, I think.
Well, you would probably want it to translate to king(s) of the tyrant lizards. That means Tyrannosauri Rex.

DINAUSORS 😤😂
All Latin names describe an individual species. This is like asking what do you call multiple "homo sapiens". You don't. "homo sapiens" is the name of the species. Not individuals of the species. You don't say there are some humanities playing there. You say there are members of humanity playing there. Same logic.
Couldn't one argue that Tyrannosaurus rex, despite being the scientific name, is ALSO the common name and in that context is maybe not subject to the same rules as scientific names?
“Tyrannosaurus” or “T-rex” have a better claim to being the common name.
