Got offer from Google for Operations Associate, Equity & Inclusion and from Doordash for Strategy & Operations Associate, Social Impact Programs. Which one is better for my career? Doordash would have both internal and external dei work, google would be purely internal. I feel that career growth would be faster in the google role but more limiting to HR adjacent work

Pretty sure a DEI associate is about purpose built for Google.
Doordash sounds like a better opp due to visibility, which dei is: a publicity stunt. Also, objectively, probably a more diverse group of employees and contractors to actually support.
DoorDash if youāre looking for a real operations job. Operations is the most important role at that company, whereas DEI is a cancer that wonāt be remembered fondly even if itās at Google - so over the long term Iād pick DD.
