Uber verbal offer
Hi everyone! I received a verbal offer from Uber last week and was curious if anyone could provide some insight as to how long it took the team to send through the written offer? I have a competing offer that I need to get back on and I am terrified with the current state of things of passing it up only to have Uber rug pull me. About the offers (both for a design role): Uber: (from what I remember) Base: $105-$117K Stock: 40k Total: $145-$157k Level: 4A (I think) Culture Amp: Base/TC: $112k Fixed term (Known for its great culture)

once you accept over phone call maybe 1, 2 days for docusign email? recruiters not stupid they know they gotta act fast. i dont think rug pull will happen. but could be different for eng / non-eng.

hmm ... they are tough negotiation. FAANG often knows they have advantage. other paper competing offers help. maybe try for sign on bonus and say that could swing ur vote
