Intuit offer evaluation
I got an offer from intuit for SDE2 Full-stack. I am currently working at Expedia as a backend developer. Is is worth switching to intuit given my current team at expedia is good in terms of WLB and opportunities. Experience: 3 years Current TC: fixed: 22 Stocks: 8 lakh Intuit: Fixed: 30 Stocks: $40k for 4 years
I think you mean SE-2 full stack at intuit. This is below par for 2021 bull market standards, but okayish for now You can maybe ask for little higher on stocks (maybe 32) and stocks upto 45k realistically and get that
Expedia and Intuit are on par in terms of pay, tech and WLB/culture with Intuit slightly better. You are gaining almost 30% hike on Expedia base so makes sense provided the team/work is good in Intuit as legacy products has poor work. But overall Intuit is a great company and brand on the resume. You can take a call depending on urge to try a new team/project. Given you are satisfied with your current team/work Intuit still makes sense unless work/team in Intuit is completely blackbox hence purge is not worth the risk
