Update: Trans Coworker Stealing Breast Milk
What in earth does that even mean.
It depends on their expectations. If they expected you to come up with a design that’s close to reality no that’s crazy. If they expected you to say never heard of it, what is that, and then puzzle it out from there and maybe get some good pieces down, then it’s okay. Unlucky for you it was probably the first one.
It’s a new grad position. No one asks design questions for new grads anyway.
You got fucking trolled lmao
We ask this to staff+ engineers. You’re supposed to have world class understanding of dist sys to design a strong core and the machinery under Kubernetes
I didn’t really know about Kubernetes until I joined a devops team. It’s not something everyone uses
The question should be how to improve workday job portal. Please fix, it’s a pain. 🙏🏼
Since we are system design question, guess how many shards of data they have on their identity table. Sharded by composite key (user_email, company_id). I probably have 50+ rows myself for every single company
@wofnsj Every company that uses Workday has their own completely private database. That's why a new account is required for every company.
