I am currently in team matching at meta but my recruiter mentioned that the max TC possible for an E5 role in Seattle is: Base: 220k Stocks: 200k (800k over 4 years) Bonus: 33k (15% of base) Joining bonus: 0 (she can push for an exception to get one time 25k bonus but don't think it will get approved) TC: 453k And the TC she can get approval for right away is 369k Is this recruiter correct or are they low balling me? Current TC: 440k
Isn't 450k for new L5 offers basically top of market right now? Obviously excluding tenured seniors who caught stock booms
Def push for a sign on. And 25k seems low. I would start by asking for 50k. Search around. I think there were recent offers.
Sign on could go to $100k and base to $230k I believe, but overall it seems pretty good especially considering the market right now
This beats mine by a mile. For the record I didn't get a signing bonus either, but I just said that I needed time to think about it, and the next day they came back with a signing. No competing offers either.
Sounds good to me, especially for Seattle. But of course a few Blinders will tell you how you should Be getting $250k base, $250k stocks and bonus and a sign on of $100k minimum.

Loop was pretty standard. Including the design, all questions were from meta tagged questions online.
