I have 4 offers currently, SAP : [newport beach, CA] Base - 150k Stocks - 12K/year Relocation - 10K Goldman Sachs : [Dallas] Base - 145k Joining Bonus - 20K [in January paycheck] Relocation - 13K Visa : [Austin] Base - 135k Joining Bonus - 18K Relocation - 10K Stocks - 45K Workday : [pleasanton] [P3] [Java software engineer role] Numbers will be discussed this week. based on current offers, i am interested in workday. And I have numbers in my head for workday. I would be interested with 160K base /160K stocks/ relo + joining 30K Should I share this number after the initial offer is made from their end?? Or should I share in the beginning? Pleasanton is very HCOL. My friend works at Workday and she hates it (very old school non-tech culture), but ymmv depending on team. She’s leaving WD for a big tech company, so maybe that is biased. I agree with your assessment, you will want a much higher TC to move here, compared to the other offers (though depends how much more).

I generally wait to see what they’ll offer to start, and go from there. Since you have competing offers, you should let them know that they exist, but be vague on the numbers as they aren’t super high. If they lowball (don’t think they will, but you never know), then let them know your salary requirements (+20%). They’ll negotiate and end up at your actual expectations, give or take.
I work at Workday. As a P3 you can get what you’re looking for. I don’t know about the sign on bonus, but your base and stock is in line with what I would expect them to offer.
