Previous manager threatened to put me on PIP because she guessed that i was giving her low connections score. She also targeted me for several months before this and was abusive to me. I needed therapy. I posted about the whole situation here before. So i left the team and I’m with a new team that’s so normal and great BUT the old manager keeps finding ways to talk to me about either old work or wants to know what my team does and i get a slack from her every week. Every time i see her name pop-up i get a mini anxiety attack. I responded a couple of times as i was afraid she would talk shit about me to my current team and do her usual vindictive thing. But i can’t take it anymore seeing her constantly try to get in touch. What should i do? @amazon
Can you just simply ignore her?
Yeah instinctively that’s what i want to do. Stay as far away from her as possible. But we’re still in the same company/org - not sure what the consequences are to ignoring her. i’m just confused why she’d even want to talk to me after creating a hellish situation for me. That’s the most psychotic thing i’ve ever seen

get a restraining order! It seems your manager has hots for you, so she forced you out of the team!!
Talk to HR. This is what they are there for
Ask her to start corresponding only over email and mute her on slack.
Ask her to stop contacting you. Contact HR if she continues. Confide in someone that a manager who previously made advances on you is now contacting you repeatedly and you want her to stop. Do not name names.

Pretty sure this still constitutes as hostile work environment, I’m fairly reviews are a protected activity. Gotta sit her down and either give her the D or have HR tell her to leave you alone
Just ignore her. You could mitigate any retailation on her part by letting your current manager and HR know that youre being harassed
Mute her conversation in slack and chime
