RH king of technical errors
Got an email from RH: "Correction to our previous email", We realized that our last message about your recurring investment orders didn’t specify which orders were impacted by the technical issue. Sorry for the inconvenience! Here are your impacted orders: ABCD: $XX I am losing trust even with weekly recurring investment that RH is supposed to execute. Looking for suggestions? Then why still trading with RH? Why not quit using it and move to others
I am a low-key user and have only set recurring for couple of hundred bucks a week but recent f*k-ups have made me realize to change now
if you are not trading frequently, it’s fine. Otherwise RH cost basis calculation will tax you at higher capital gain
What's the process to transfer out from RH and move to Fidelity? Anybody did that recently?
Not all that hard, depending on whether it's a tax advantages vs brokerage account. You can transfer to your bank and then open Fidelity and transfer there very easily
You just have to initiate from Fidelity. You need one statement from RH. It’s all all online. But you can call customer service and get it done as well
