I made a terrible decision going into SWE. Don’t get me wrong, I’m grateful and will continue to do it because of the money, but money isn’t happiness and this job makes me so damn unhappy. I’m too late in my career to go into anything else. right now I’m trying make my first million to pivot. Anyone else know this feel?
Have u tried any other job? I’ve been in like 4 other industries, trust me tech is heavenly
This job is really not that hard compared to other professions. Finance/law/medicine all require longer hours and more schooling/debt. You are just depressed bro
I am 33 I want to try for a physician but I think is too late now
It is not too late. By 43, you are out of medical School so there is still time.
Hey Op, Sorry maybe unrelated, can I dm you for a referral at GitHub?
what's wrong with Tesla?
Too late? How old are you?
35
obviously you’re not late. but it implies your risk appetite. you don’t like changes. don’t make an excuse with age
