I am trying to gather data on ESPP plans in tech industry. ESPP is superficially covered in most offers and in some companies it can be a significant portion of TC if maxed out. Will post a compilation once there are enough responses When you respond, cover these details 1) discount or match, 2) look back period for purchase price, 3) holding period, 4) cap on contribution I'll start. Qualtrics is on SAP ESPP. 40% employer match capped at €6000 (no discount), no look back, no holding period, cap of 10% of base If you see someone from your company post, it'll would be immensely helpful if you replied to that response so that I have all responses for a company in a single thread. 🙏 #espp
15% discount 6 months look back period No holding Capped at 15% of salary to max of 25k
What do you mean by look back and holding pds?
Microsoft doesn't have either 😀 Some companies have it. Lookback period is how far they will look back to pick a price. For example, if offering period is 3 months and look back is 3 months, they will pick the lower of (price at beginning of offering period, price at end of offering period) and give discount on top of that. Holding period is the time you need to hold the shares before you can sell once you get them.
