Hi! I’m looking for referrals for several companies. I was graduated with a First Class Honours (the British Honours System) BSc in Computer Science from a Russell Group University. I’ve got a polished CV, did some LeetCode and followed AlgoExpert to prepare. Looking for Backend SWE roles in Europe, but if you are from the US / Canada or not an SWE and can still refer, it's just as great! If you can help, comment below and I will quickly get back to you on DM. It would be much appreciated! #google #apple #applecareers #twitter #meta #facebook #instagram #netflix #spotify #microsoft #adobe #nvidia #oracle #linkedin #uber #snapchat #goldmansachs #salesforce #morganstanley #jpmorgan #jpmorganchase #ubs #deutschebank #citibank #gocardless #bytedance #cisco #tesla #airbnb #samsung #visa #twosigma #twosigmacareers #deshaw #imc #dwr #citadel #citadelsecurities #expedia #expediagroup #fundingcircle #intel #atlassian #lyft #pinterest #indeed #reddit #yahoo #palantir #ebay #worldpay #engineering #softwareengineer #swe #software

I’m not sure first class honours = 4.0 GPA I’m British but as far as I understand, GPA is just your average graded work put against a 4.0 scale. Eg if you average 50% in your graded work that’s 2.0 GPA, 75% is 3.0, 95% is 3.8 etc I doubt there is a single CS grad in UK with 100%/4.0 GPA
Thanks for your help, I guess… https://www.fulbright.org.uk/going-to-the-usa/pre-departure/academics
