What’s the best looking exterior color on a Sedan? Comment the color + shade if it’s not on the poll
Red is best. 5 extra HP
More tickets from police though
Also, a tip: No matter the color, you need to have a coat of wax on your car for touchless car washes to be effective. Pollen is a killer on all colors. I wouldn’t base my choice of car color on something that lasts 1 month out of the year, maybe. Your commute distance has a lot to do with how often you’ll have to clean your car. Also if garaged or not. I like using the Build & Price tools online so I can see how each color would look with the tone of the wheel color. Sometimes silvers can be overly warm and clash with aluminum wheels. Watch this to see what I mean. The “before” makes the car look a little dated, but the “after” is a more current-year color combo with the non metallic cool grey and anthracite wheels. https://youtu.be/iV0rq8uccUc
You can hardly see pollen on a white, silver, gold colored car. If you don’t have garaged parking at work, highly unlikely to keep your car clean. I live in Bay Area and can’t keep my car clean because it sits outside for 10+ hours a day even though I garage at night.
Black by far. Just looks luxurious and elegant
Either don't get black, get a convertible, or be prepared to hunt for parking spots in the shade if you want to avoid getting roasted alive by the heat.
Bmw get alpine white, benz get the black
I have black bimmer, wish I didn’t. I street park and it never looks clean 😕
White is the safest color according to accident stats.
Dark green metallic for me!
Avoid black if you live in high-sol regions and don’t have a garage. Black absorbs heat. Screws up the clearcoat
Would highly recommend not getting a black car. Very easy to see pollen and dust and after you wash it, it’s only clean for 1.5 days
In Seattle, you'll rarely se the color of a car. It is mostly muddy or dusty.
This is the life of a black car owner
