Let me introduce you to something called a government job
These jobs are everywhere. They also pay between 55K-85K TC. Why do you think you're entitled to outsized compensation 5x or more the median household income without putting up with any problems? Mo' money, mo' problems. TC $470K
Sounds like my job, except I'm remote TC 300
It’s easy. You just need to set lower standards.
I will pimp out Pure Storage as that type of company. Of course, this is an individual observation and, naturally not everyone at Pure will be so enthusiastic, but I don't anticipate anyone from Pure replying with "I work weekends and nights", "It's all politics", etc. Interviews are two way streets. I chose Pure over other offers because they had the right culture, people, etc. During your next interviews, make sure you interview your company as well.
Government contracting is like this. Pay can vary wildly.
Because there are A LOT of mediocre people out there who need to justify their existence.
