Should I join Kotak Mahindra Bank as SDE 2?
Hi guys, I joined Epam 8 months back as Senior Software Engineer and working for amazon client. But now got offer from Kotak mahindra bank as SDE 2 but hike is only 10%. So should I join kotak or not and what about culture and work in kotak. #engineering #software #swe #epam #amazon #sde #sde2 #kotak #kotakmahindrabank
I wouldn't move for 10% in this climate unless your current situation demands a move
The thing is epam is service based company and even though I am working for amazon as client I am not doing good work like design lld or hld only implementation after design
Don't think it will be much better at kotak. Even in amazon India there are very few teams that do or learn the things that you mentioned.
Move out, service based company is never too great for career progression plus we all know how vendors are treated in a product company, it's always a biased second tier citizen treatment. I would recommend you to move to kotak, the career progression and work would be better

How much experience do you have? How's culture at epam? I'm planning to apply for interviews at epam, Hyderabad. For 8+ experience,How many interview rounds will be there for full stack developer, java, angular, spring boot, nodejs? Your inputs are much appreciated
Almost 5 years of experience. Culture at epam is good. Thry usually takes 3-4 round including dsa, technical and HM sometimes system design also
