I come from a Mech background and have been in consumer electronics industry for a long time . I understand high level comp architecture and basics of SOC /GPU. But I’m not getting any interview calls at AMD, NVDA, MSFT even within Apple or other startups in working on Ai hardware . My direct experience has never been in this space . Pls note I am a PM/TPM so don’t know much about AI hardware like a technologist would. Can someone guide me 1) what courses/real life experience I can take/get to learn more about this ?
Have you tried applying for jobs at lesser known or smaller companies?
You asked what courses you could take. I would recommend getting a Masters Degree in computer architecture.
AI hardware platforms? Can you offer some insights? What role do you have prior and what transferable skills are needed . Can you pls Dm me? I can’t message as blind put me on paid to message

Following. Exact same situation, exact same background but worked in robotics startups.
To add. Been gunning real hard for the Apple EPM roles lol. Not much luck there either.
To be honest I think it’s the way you write/communicate that you are not getting calls. Just seeing your post with the spelling/grammar issues make me suspect that’s what the turnoff is. PMs/TPMs are valued for their crisp communication above anything else.
She can use ChatGPT , that won’t be an issue for non English speakers
Apple offers Coursera for free. There are a number of AI classes on there, been taking some myself for knowledge. Since you’re in a PM/TPM role you probably don’t need a degree and these would at least show you are taking initiative to learn. Combined with enough experience it might help open the door.
Maybe first work on regular CPUs first?
Not getting opportunities
Start more basic then.
