Today San Francisco hosted a pride festival smack dab in the heart of the Tenderloin. The streets of the tenderloin are where thousands of homeless individuals call home. Today, San Francisco booted all of these people out of the area, fenced it off, and threw a big ol gay party. Today, San Francisco said fuck the homeless, let’s prioritize our LGBTQ audience.
If you don't like why don't you move to India?
Oh, so just a racist and sexist then, cool
I don’t care what the reason was but kicking out the homeless from any area is a great thing.
Crazy how they have the technology to kick all the homeless out whenever there’s an event but refuse to do it for the people that actually live here to have a normal life
It’s all theater to them. They don’t care, never have and never will. The only people who buy into it are your casual tolerant folks who wear a mask out in the open air, all day long.
Wouldn't want to be in the surrounding areas when a wave of homeless people leaving the Tenderloin came through and took up residence. Glad I don't live or work in SF anymore.
Curious where do they go?
About one block down the street, lol. When the CCP came to town they moved them way out for a week or so. For this event, they literally just fenced them off and all of the homeless people caked together on another street down the block.
the peasants make way for the minor nobles
Bro idk. I'll probably get shit on but after learning that 60% of Seattle's homeless rejected shelter and aid, and living amongst the junkies that don't have the capability of getting better, or the desire to get better, and seeing them act erratically around people going about their day, and leaving needles foils and garbage everywhere - for years and years... Just fucking kick those ones out if they reject help, they are not wanted nor do they deserve to benefit from the amenities of cities
They reject help because the left enables them. They have public toilets, free drug paraphernalia being given to them, and of course welfare. They like their tents, and don’t mind it.
I am left/progressive I think. And I still have this mindset. I think when people blame huge complex issues on a political party, they are dumb and lazy. This shit persists whether it's red or blue
are there homeless people because laws in US do not allow people to hire workers below a certain wages
Wow, I'll bet that interfered with all of the homeless advocacy and volunteering you do.
It’s actually illegal in SF to live in a tent on the sidewalk. SF voters passed prop Q and similar measures before that. It’s just not enforced most of the time.
Republicans sad that someone beat them to it
SF sucks, especially after incel tech bros took over.
You mean tech men and women and they and them.
New is wrong. Most tech people are brainwashed alphabet enablers
