Hi all, Would like to know what the new grad SWE interview process looks like in companies like Citadel, HRT (Hudson River Trading), Jane Street, JumpTrading, and Bloomberg. Is it just Leetcode? Or also computer systems questions. Are they language-specific? If anyone has come across interviews at any of these companies, please comment on your experience. This post could be a thread to anyone who wants to switch to fintech. Thanks. #citadel #meta #google #faang #HudsonRiverTrading #Janestreet #jumptrading #bloomberg #fintech
I had Citadel OA, it was leetcode style. Difficulty hard
Can you tell me what the rest of the interview process looks like? Are they language-specific?
They are each different
Yes, please comment if you know any of those.
I just finished two bloomberg onsites this week (two different teams). the coding problems were LC easy/mid.
Hi…. Which team did you interview with? Did you get your offer??
I interviewed with the Enterprise Trading Platform org and the Trade Automation & Execution team. I found out yesterday I got positive feedback and am moving forward with the Enterprise Trading Platform org but I need to have a follow up chat with one of my interviewers to see if there's a fit for his team before getting to the offer.
Jane Street isn't language specific. Similar to leetcode but more realistic and coding-focused, rather than algo-focused.
@camelus, I am thinking to apply for SWE role at JS. Can I dm you ?
Sure
One of these things is not like the other
Idk if it's common use at citadel but I've got a geometry question, it was quite hard and it completely blew my interview
for swe ?
prolly not swe, mine were all LC style
