A few months ago, there was a change in leadership. As part of their evaluation process, senior ICs will now be assessed based on their PR counts. My manager is supportive, has asked me to submit more PRs to ensure my job security. Many of the ICs have started submitting PRs for minor bug fixes. While I could do the same and increase my PR count, I don't believe that PRs alone should be the primary metric for evaluating senior ICs. Instead, the impact of our work should be considered. Our role involves designing solutions, providing guidance, and leading teams. YOE: 8 TC: 426k

Send PRs then. Split a PR into 100 PRs. Revert some changes in a new PR. Find a new job while this is happening and tell them what asswipes they are on the way out.
