winery name: Revana Family Vineyard -tasting experience: 10/10, this was an intimate experience where we were the only guest onsite, it felt like we were visiting a friends vineyard. when u pull up to the property, which can be easy to miss off of st helena hwy, (they only have a small sign next to their gate) once the host confirms ur reservation, the gate opens up. the staff comes out to welcome u and does a quick tour of the property before escorting u into their tasting room. on the way, ur likely to run into the winemaker and staff :) their full lineup of wines are highly rated, composed of bold cabernet, which is whats typically known for in this area. their βIconβ series is made from one of the best small blocks across the st helena, oakville & stags leap AVA. fun fact, owner is a cardiologist :) -tasting $: $125, if ur comfortable spending time 1:1 with the sommelier & show interest, its absolutely worth the 1.5-2 hrs spent -reservations: Yes, via tock, but availability is usually available just several days prior -membership: 3/10, mainly due to cost and its limited to 200 members since smaller winery. they have 3 tiers, 6/12/18 allocation released twice per yr. minimum spend is $2.2k (yikes!). -revisit: Yes, since their membership cost is so high, it makes sense to revisit to pick up a few more bottles of their βIconβ series
